Sept 21 (Saturday): Mystic and Sandcut

We're back! It's September and it's time to hike.

DATE: Sept 21, Saturday
TIME: 8-ish for coffee, on the road by 9:00
WHERE: Serious Coffee, Westshore Mall (same old place)

DESTINATIONS:
Mystic Beach for a nice hike and some leisurely time on the beach.
On the way back we'll stop in to see Sandcut Beach. I hear it's beautiful.

Pack a snack or lunch.

On the way home we can visit Little Vienna Bakery in Sooke on for a bite to eat. Saturday is crepe day. (But I'll still have a lemon tart).

June 14-16 Hornby Island

Gillian and Doug are in NZ at this moment (a hiker's paradise, she says), but she has confirmed their generous offer for us to stay at their cabin for a weekend.

Please send me a note if you plan to go. We need to do a bit of coordination, perhaps talk about meal planning.

Dave and I probably won't be able to attend as it is the weekend before exams for Quentin and he has to be ready for his Biology 12 final. We will be with you in spirit though!!
