Our January hike is on Sunday the 26th. Let's meet at Serious (Westshore, as always) at 8 am, and leave at 9 am.

This will be a morning hike - probably Mount Work, so we should be finished around noon.

Looking forward to seeing all of you!

December 21st get-together

Hi everybody,

Please send me a note to confirm whether or not you are joining in on Saturday evening.

France is putting together a "please bring" list for fondue.

Does anybody have an extra fondue pot they can bring?

Sunday, Nov 17: Mount Manuel Quimper

Let's meet at Serious Westshore at 8:00 for coffee, and leave at 9:00.

The drive is not far - to a road on this side of Sooke.

Much of the trail is easy to moderate, with a good uphill climb at the end.  6 miles round trip.

We can eat lunch on the bluff. If it rains we can use the forest lookout building for shelter.

Bring your rain gear. Friends and dogs are always welcome!

At last!

Let's meet at Serious Coffee (Westshore) at 8 am, leaving by 8:30.

Bring your rain gear and a lunch, maybe a thermos of  hot tea or soup.
